Deepwater Horizon Disaster 2010

The Deepwater Horizon disaster has devastated Louisiana. Our poor state is still recovering from Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav and Ike. It already suffers from terrible rates of poverty, sexually transmitted diseases, infant mortality, teenage birth and racial disparities. We hardly needed this man-made disaster.

So sad - we need oil for energy and our economy. If only our government leaders would protect us from corporate greed. Instead they all plot against the average person in the USA. Someday there will be a change big time.

Very expressive work of statement, David.. The subject selected by you is important to deal with. There's a lot going on in this work of your, that must be one of my favorite from yours. With all happnenig here.. There first thing I noticed is the bp, with small letters (for a reason, I guess).. I had a friend years back - BP.. with Blue eyes..
